Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of AgentCRA. By creating an account you agree to them.

1. The service

AgentCRA converts your bank and credit-card statements into organized, CRA-category expense records, extracts HST, matches receipts, tracks mileage, and produces exports for your accountant.

2. Not tax advice

AgentCRA is software, not an accounting firm. Categories, HST amounts, and deductibility figures are automated estimates based on CRA rules as we understand them. You are responsible for the accuracy of your tax filings — review the output with a licensed accountant before filing. We are not liable for the outcome of any CRA filing, assessment, or audit.

3. Subscriptions and billing

Every account starts with a 14-day free trial — no card required. When it ends, you keep read access to your data but uploads and processing pause until you subscribe.
Plans bill monthly or annually through Stripe. Annual plans are billed up front (pay 10 months, get 12).
Cancel anytime from Billing — your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then stops. No cancellation fees.
If a renewal payment fails we keep your account active for 14 days while the charge retries, then pause it until billing is fixed.
Unhappy in your first 30 days as a paying customer? Email us and we'll refund your first payment in full.

4. Your data

Your data belongs to you. You can export everything at any time and ask us to delete your account entirely. We use your data only to provide the service — see the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

One account per business. Don't attempt to access other tenants' data, probe or disrupt the service, or upload content you don't have the right to process. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Availability

We work hard to keep AgentCRA reliable, but it's provided "as is" without uptime guarantees. Keep copies of your source documents — your bank remains the system of record for statements.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; material changes will be emailed to you before they take effect. You may close your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
